Major League Rugby MLR

If my dream came true, of a 'JANZAR' comp then a team in Hawaii would be an outstanding addition. Having a sustainable US team involved - and without having to travel to mainland USA - could add significant broadcast revenue whilst not further taxing the Australasian teams too badly in terms of travel. Also grate for Japanese teams to be able to play an overseas game that's not 12 hours or more away.

Don't know who or what to believe ...

@Stargazer wow, thats a big change for Ryan, i assumed he'd be hanging in Dunners waiting for a crack at the Otago head coach role, overseas experience is good i guess

Mitre10 is doomed sadly. I think mlr better on the cv

Isaac Ross has accepted his playing days in Japan are over, and will instead head to the USA to take up a player/coach role with Austin Gilgronis next year. The Ta$man Mako lock will team up with fellow former All Black Jamie Mackintosh for the Texas-based Major League Rugby side, splitting their time between playing and coaching the forwards.

The Recruitment to the MLR has been very strong. The old dogs will do so much for the development over their. Very similar to early japan but with proper development.
