Well, after getting all excited about the quality of rugby last week (well, bar the canes), this week it's definitely Super rugby early season.

Pretty good defense by both teams (some timely turnovers) but also a few mistakes which have allowed the pressure off when they've had chances.

Hurricanes scrum is a real worry, they are missing Coles. JTA doesn't seem up to it - I seem to remember that the AB coaches wanted him to move to loosehead.. maybe he should have listened because he has been getting worked in the scrums 🙂

    Really?

I think he's a bit underrated. Given their current resources, I think I'd have him out there in the midfield or at 15.

Thought there could've been a penalty where Lima knocked on....not much intent for the ball from the canes jumpers

Hurricanes go close after a great break from Barrett around Fekitoa.

Fekitoa does well to hold up Savea. Well done.

Barrett carving up with proper ball. Landers look buggered.

Good Little passage of play. Hurricanes trying out a strategy of kicking to Sopoaga with Savea chasing.

And now Sopoaga is off.
