    <p>Peak Franks would have had to have dislodged an incumbent, which is no easy feat, even with the fluffing RB would have given him.</p>

    <p>As Carl had some very serious family issues he felt he needed to pay for him leaving and staying overseas for the money was the right choice. I am sure he would of loved to win a RWC but there are more important things in life.</p>

    <p>Interesting. Must have been some incredibly bad problems if an actual farm (which is what the NZRU were offering) couldn't dig you out of them.</p>
