Two theories. Darth Vader in his healing pod, Obi Wan rematch (ties into that line “Obi Wan once thought as you do”)

Pretty decent count of kiwis in the galaxy far far away.
Tem. The kid who played young Boba, Jay Laga’aia, Keisha, Taika, Rena Owen, Ian Watkin, Csokas (I think), Karl Urban... any others?Csokas played one of the creatures in the stands of the pod race. Simone Kessell above can be added.

i had assumed we'd just be getting obi won having flashbacks to his time with anakin, maybe some obsession over signs he missed, some light de aging of Christensen

The way Luke was in those movies was pretty far down my list of gripes compared to other things but I won’t go into that again.

its just a stark comparison, luke at full power to grumpy man who gave upYeah but same could be said for Yoda, going from a mighty warrior into a rambling old loner in a swamp planet....didn’t happen quite to the same extent with Obi Wan ( he still fought to the end even though he threw his fight with Vader )
