I feel incredibly old today, that moment where you realise you are no longer a hip young thing and just a knackered old technophobe, apparently that's me now...
New Phone got me.
Samsung Galaxy A12, after being judged so harshly for prev using Huawei (by a certain group of grumpy old men) , I thought it'd be a better choice, not an iphone kinda gal and not particularly fussed about having a "cool" phone either as it will likely be smashed over the next year.
Store lady said "just download smart switch and it will whip all your data over". Store lady LIED!!
I've given up, started afresh and google has done the photos etc I've manually done everything else.I actually wish i was microchipped somehow to just tap my phone and it's just there. God this is all so painful. Grumpy as fuck. It all used to be so easy,at what point did this happen to me!?

Nothing to do with age - I'm still a techie who can still design and build stuff yet I struggle getting stuff working for teenage nephews and nieces who are as bamboozled as anyone.
Today's tech tries to be too clever and the designers are obviously geeks who have no social skills nor interaction with real humans. Fluffybunnies really.

@victor-meldrew I dunno, definitely feels like my brain doesn't adjust as easily to change now. Just decided I'm going to keep both going, huawei without sim card, samsung for phoning. I'll feel like a drug dealer or a prostitute with my 2 phones and then I'll feel young an hip again...maybe.

Forget about which phone you’re using. Let’s face it, using a Samsung rather than an iPhone is not exactly living outside the matrix is it? We will all go down the hole that is easier to fit in and pretend that we’re not in the same tunnel.

I'm the serial killer remember? Haven't sold drugs for quite some time, never been a hooker, demand was too low. Just had one or two in the cellar at times.
