I think he was in 2002 when almost all the Crusaders made the team.
And so they should’ve. Setting the ABs up for our 2011 run 😎

Hasn’t been mentioned and a good guess, but he debuted the next year.
So, I clearly didn't read the original post as I thought we were going until then.

That's another interesting question, aside from McCaw did any of the Cantablacks (or any of the ABs that year) make it 2011? I'd guess not many, if any.

He was a good sized unit and whilst his AB play was only a few games, his play in super and other representative rugby was notable.

The Blues won in 2003, so a good bet.
The Highlanders had lots of AB loosies around that time.
