@crucial It changes each lockdown. The true Auckland council border was the first one, the next time was the Tuakau Bridge, then it was roughly in the middle of the district with the Port on the Waikato side. The current border is where the old Franklin district council used to end. The current border is a more natural border with the residents on the Waikato side more likely to go to Huntly/Te Kauwhata/Ngaruawahia/Raglan rather than Tuakau/Pokeno/Pukekohe.

Fantastic...🙄
Hopefully just turns out to be a truckie who didn't get out of his truck...seemed a real lack or urgency to get hold of him though taking around 24 hours since announcing the weak positive case yesterday

The delays on this essential worker coming up here are not good enough.
So was tested on Monday, result back Wednesday, not retested until Thursday due to not being able to get hold of the person for a re-test, no locations of interest released yet (one would hope that as an essential worker they have strict rules around stopping outside of thier intended location, and maybe they just stopped at thier destination and went home...therefore no locations of interest) as you'd have to expect they will have us move to L3 as well, but we are 4 days after the person was here, and no information....
Also, nothing around vax status, if they were wearing a mask? So frustrating.

@crucial I didn't get that far. It wasn't clever and it was just a rant not really making any points so I gave up after 20 seconds. As satire it was about as subtle as a Greta Thunberg speech and as polished as sawdust
True, but I gave it a little longer to see if it would 'twist'. It did. To la-la land

To be fair these clowns are beyond parody now , the photo of dear leader in this article barbecueing with her coat on and all the dials turned off says more about them than that song
You need to look closer. The gas is on.

Good news this morning for speedway fans in L2 areas with most racing due to kick off around Labour weekend. Sport NZ has released this statement this morning
“In the new Alert Level 2 rules, there is no restrictions to the number of spectators that can attend a sporting event, for example a speedway track – as long as everyone can safely stay 1 metre apart. If you are organising an event, make sure everyone records their visit.”

Oh dear, the 1 metre separation will put paid to the interesting discussions between aggrieved drivers in the pits immediately after races. Will also prove difficult when allotting viewing space to interested spectators to said discussions! When does Meeanee kick off?

Sunday on Labour weekend @Higgins The Lucas Oils Superstock/Super Saloon event won't happen then, as the first round was supposed to be in Palmy the night before but that has been canned, so will be just a club night

So L3 for Northland...you 4 days
The 'essential worker' spent 4 days here with another person and being uncooperative about where he went...what a fucking joke that this fluffybunny got out of Auckland in the first place.

Scrotes will be scrotes. You aren’t going to stop that without super harsh conditions.
The person lied, got documents by deception then won’t cooperate. -
@taniwharugby Hipkins just said it has been suggested he falsified some information to get a travel permit under the social service category. By the time it was verified that the information was false he was already in Northland. The 2 locations of interest were both gas stations so my guess is they were only able to get any info at all through CCTV.
They went to Paihia, Whangarei, Kamo and Kawakawa, and the indications were he wasn’t the only person in the car.
Edit Mod: removed the speculation

@taniwharugby
Welcome to Level 3.
The Newshub reporter said that they had been informed that they were sex workers. Hipkins could neither confirm or deny.
That would certainly improve the chances of transmission.....
