@stargazer interesting, he looks like he's doing a box kick so maybe halfback?

Fullback in a game against Marlborough Boys where he was kicking goals too by the looks.

Having a quick look Jack Harding was also used as the 1st 5 for STAC. He was to be part of the Chiefs Region Under 18 Development Camp.

He’s a 10 , but played fullback cause coaches preferred Jack Harding. Harding is very overrated. Just an average 1st xv player.

@chchfanatic Is Harding from Waikato? It does seem strange he's signed with Waikato/Chiefs when he won't be selected ahead of two other 1st 5s from the region (Taha Kemara, Dawson Smith).

@bovidae no he’s a Christchurch boy. Let’s just say his dad Kevin Harding is good mates with one of the chiefs recruitment guys Dave McLennan. He was about 5-6 best 10 in crusaders schools this year.

Missed the first half, but now watching the second. Fast game from both teams. That Crusaders left winger - Nicholas Sauira (Nelson College?) is a handful.

Fun second half to watch. I'll watch the 1st half later.

One or all of these links should bring you to the video of the Crusaders Junior XV v Highlanders Schools game on Facebook:

His brother was the fullback in the Nelson College team.

Based on your 2nd half viewing, what did you think of Finn Hurley?

Unfortunately, not much info from the Hurricanes about their games, today. No team line-ups, no info about opposition.

Looking at the photos, Cooper Flanders captained the main team in yellow; I think he was wearing the 7 jersey. Jordan Viljoen, Afa Moleli and Isaiah Armstrong-Ravula also in that team.

I assume the team in black with a bit of yellow is a Wellington U18 squad; the other team is definitely Manawatū U18.

Hoera Stephenson was the first five and kicker for the Hurricanes team in grey.

    Some photos:

@bovidae I think he was one of the players standing out in the Highlanders U18 squad. Beautiful cross-kick to the wing in that 2nd half and it would have been an awesome try if the Crusaders' left winger hadn't won the contest in the air and caught the ball.
