It’s easy to miss stuff in the “what are you listening to” thread so the rules here are simple. Chuck down a track or two that you enjoy that doesn’t have any singing. A few to start….

    Just a beautiful guitar track.

    As is this one.

…..and this one surprised me first time I heard it.

@mn5 I broke up with a girl years ago and took it hard, used to play the Dire Straits track a lot alone in my room. Dusty

Patton is the star of FNM but by fuck the rest of the boys could rock too. That Bass is off the hook.

…..and I love this provided I skip the boring drum solo.

I love that track. Dire Straits are a funny one for me, I mean I’m sick to death of all the ubiquitous shit I hear on the radio ( in some ways they are the very definition of boring middle aged rock ) but Knopfler can fucken play like no one else.

I’ll save the “ this song makes me think of a particular chick” for another thread 😉

More instrumental awesomeness from every individual involved. Santana was off his tits on acid during this performance apparently.

Is this going to be a music snobs thread like the other one or can I post movie/TV soundtracks ones? I'm not cool enough to like instrumental music without some pictures. 😉

He played it even better live.

Quite sad how he literally had to keep touring just to pay his medical bills later in life.

@nepia I watched True Romance a couple of months ago for the first time in over 20 years. It has aged very well IMHO

@mn5 love the Sicilian, Hopper and Waalkens rocked. The Brad Pitt cameo was also excellent and the Gandolfini Arquette scene was brutal
