@steven-harris. Did all of these miss out? Vereniki Tikoilosome. George Dyer. Mitch Jacobson. Campbell Parata. Nikora Broughton. Jason Potroz. All have potential to contribute.

@booboo I was thinking I should have put George Dyer in that XV , for a young guy he was outstanding..,liked the look of lock Fabian Holland from Otago but I reckon his time will come ,also young Lucas Cashmore & Nikora Broughton

I really didn't get to watch much NPC at all. But the odd time I tuned in I noticed Florence.

The other names mean nothing to me.

Although the wee bit of the Championship final I saw Potroz looked ok. But Google tells me he's 30 so that ship has sailed.

@booboo I was just asking if Florence had been picked up when watching the final, looked big strong and fast, actually surprised

I hope Holland will be in the landers development squad

@steven-harris Dyer has that future AB look about him in the way he relishes the handling and charging up. I suspect he will be injury cover somewhere within a week or two.

I suspect if a super franchise was looking at Potroz , he would pick up something a couple of seasons back .

@steven-harris only mentioned him because of Marty Banks and Simon Hickey and young Wellington 10s. Did wonder if Potroz Parata or Cashmore would get a gig with options not too abundant.

Coombes-Fabling needs to be included in the NZ sevens squad. He doesn't have the size for XVs, but as he showed earlier in the year, has the speed and skill to be a very good sevens player.

I am hoping that the Chiefs include many of their U20 players in the WTG.

Any players from the three Auckland teams that never got the chance to show their wares. Counties did get an increase in the number of Super rugby players thanks to the Drua and Moana.

Suddenly having form in the second half of the NPC can make you unlucky. There's a limited number of contracts by that stage

It was probably worse this year too. The season went later than normal and a lot of contracting would have happened during the covid break

Was there room for a 10/12 in any of the 5 NZ sides when Leuila became a starter for Waikato (late October)? There was probably room at MP and he's unlucky he didn't wind up there
