@stargazer Don’t like our odds we lost to them twice in Fiji BUT to get to the final is a massive achievement. Funniest thing I saw on FB were the cock SA fans saying were still the best and we’ll win easy even with NZ and Fiji back.

We've got a pretty unconventional "style" that may throw the Fijians a bit if we get the bounce.

    Or we'll get dicked.

    Most likely the latter.

But hei aha, nothing to lose!

I said before the tournament that - because it was their first tourney - at least a fifth place would be a good result.

They've already exceeded that. Top 2 in their first World Series tournament in two years.

Hard to put a finger on it, but they look a very "together" team with a good mix of experience and young talent.

And, as you say, greatly exceeded expectations,

According to the commentators, the Argentinian players "love to score tries".

    Bugger me.

The defensive reads from the new players will have to improve for us to hold Fiji. Ng Shiu and Collier going really well and Ware and Rokolisoa are real threats on attack. Leo Carter and Vai have all had some good moments. Good luck NZ.

Oz keep their cool against the Oirish, who lost it a bit when it mattered.

    Onto the main event.....picking Fiji.

The attacking quality between the two teams is night and day.

It's too late for a complete comeback, but good to see they're not giving up.

Congrats Fiji. Great finishing Leo and Tangitau. Bodes well for NZ in first event back.

Really happy with the fight shown from the team, these kids are keepers and will learn hugely from this tournie.

That's the great thing. Didn't expect them to get this far, and thought Fiji would win, but their dog has been impressive.
