Canberra hand the Warriors a golden opportunity in GP1. 30m out tackle 1

    Yesssssssssss.

Great to get the win after a few stitch up calls too.

It was a genuine cripple fight in that second half. Errors galore

I think this sums it up, however after getting beaten by 70 and one guy playing with a busted nut for 45 minutes in that loss, winning ugly is a great effort. How many games historically we would have lost in this position? Probably most lol. Until a couple of weeks ago, we had not won a golden point for years ...so I will take this.

In the mean time, the roosters again get the rub of the green against the struggling doggies, it may not help them in the end but some teams just get some bullshit calls in their favour

waaaaah, the Warriors got a call in their favour and the NRL media's favourite bloke was on the other end

so of course the guy in the bunker gets stood down.

did the absolute cheating stain who smashed us against the Roosters get a suspension or a bag of money?

also, the point about how awful most of the comp is was vividly illustrated on the weekend with the Warriors playing Canberra and the Tigers playing the Dragon. Two absolute cripple fight games.

And then, just to show the level, what Melbourne did to Newcastle.

Man how wrong was i on the Cowboys? Flying in 3rd, gave Parra a touch up and Chad Townsend looking like a premier level signing. Lots of young guys playing well. A few levels below the top 2, and i still can't say they are a top 4 side in a few months time, but Toddy Payten was pretty high on the "first coach sacked" ladder.

@mariner4life I think most of the teams look like they could beat each other on any given day and this year that includes the Roosters who had looked untouchable in the past. Melbourne and Penrith are the only two that do not even look susceptible to failure even due to injuries where nearly every other squad falls to bits.

I always have said Payten was better than what he was given credit for. I still dont think he gets his rotations right including why it took until week 8 to give Cotter extra minutes, but the Cowboys are now winning. Look at the young talent he is bringing through now too, the key will be not to lose all of it to other teams. I dont think they are top 4 though either but will only get better with the confidence that comes from winning consistently.

Some teams are really struggling though and those games are awful to watch especially the cripple fights

well this is interesting, havent seen anything confirmed, but hopefully one less distraction

Fox sports, so as reliable as facebook. "The Dolphins were in hot pursuit of young gun Reece Walsh, who this week confirmed he would see out his contract with the New Zealand club and return to the club’s Auckland base in a blow for the NRL’s 17th team."

Kodi never managed to nail down his position. He's just too small

@canefan and too inconsistent and we already have plenty of those, so offloading one is a good move. i still think he can add value somewhere because when he is on he is pretty good.

On a solid team who can hide his weaknesses Kodi will do fine

As a long disappointed warriors fan it's good to see other clubs make enormous roster fuck ups

Souths not extending Adam Reynolds looked a bad move at the time, and looks awful now. He drove the Broncos to flog the Rabbits last night.

Who in their right mind thought that asset in their halves was Cody fucking Walker?

@mariner4life Cody Walker is a good half...but he needs someone to run the game for him so he can float around. Massive mistake taking away his structure and look what happens, Reynolds schooled the whole team last night lol. I suspect they are hoping an old head like Kodi might help Cody, but for me they play to similar, so again maybe not the right club

Kodi is a player whose strength is running the ball, but is scared to take the line on. Which is why no one is sad to see him depart Warrior land

Every man and his dog could see, watching Souths last year, that Walker looked good because Reynolds told him where to stand, and did all the organisation. This might be the most predictable outcome in sports history

i actually laughed, out loud, when he kicked the ball away with the Broncos pinned on their line, gave away a penalty. The Broncos scored on that set.

Good to see an NRL ref willing to pull the trigger with the send off. That was not only dangerous play, it was reckless as.

Surely against 12 men for 55-60 minutes we can’t lose from here…
