Phil Neville was clueless and a terrible appointment given his lack of coaching experience. Wiegman has won the comp before and was a great appointment. Looking forward to the World Cup here next year - plenty of quality in the European teams and add in USA, Canada, Australia, Japan and the South American teams and there is some real depth. And NZ of course ...
Now if the men can get rid of his brother Gary.....

I watched both semis and the final, 3 very decent matches. The last 5 minutes were like the never-ending pick 'n' go in rugby when you want to wind the clock down. A little bit tedious. The girls can dive as much as the boys too! The first English goal was a sublime pass.
It's weird seeing England win a soccer match that counts!

Pretty much the perfect Euro champs for England - not only winning but plenty of goals and plenty of jeopardy in all 3 knockout games, Sweden were well on top until England scored. With no other meaningful football happening and the games on mainstream TV, the exposure has been fantastic - and the games showed how good the standard is now. Really looking forward to the World Cup next year even though New Zealand is now no longer able to compete with the top sides.
