That team has quite a preseason game feel to it, with so many changes from the last game. Hopefully not too many.
The changes to the xv aren't a surprise but the bench looks a little light.
For the midweek matches most sides keep a few of their top players on the bench.

@Nepia Yep, 2nd stringers in the starting XV and 3rd stringers on the bench. So unnecessary, as we play Manawatu on Sunday! I'd rather see them use that game to give some players a rest.
I kind of hope that Godfrey rips Otago to pieces to claim that starting fullback jersey, but Tiatia may be a coach's pet, so not sure it will happen (this year).

I have no idea how good Godfrey is, but we have two more than capable fullbacks not starting at fullback in this match who I'd be happy with.

@Nepia Oh, I totally agree! It's just that Godfrey will be wearing that 15 jersey tomorrow, and the other fullback options have a different number on their back.
Godfrey is still a puppy, who'll play his first NPC game, so I have no unreasonably high expectations. I just hope he'll play well.

Wash you mouth out with soap and water. If there is any team we want to beat by about 438 points in a game it is the 'Poo. Naturally we should play our first choice starting lineup against that mob.
