    We've talked about this tour to SA on another thread but I see that the squad has been announced today. A pity those unavailable players aren't involved.

    The New Zealand Under 19 squad has been selected by Head Coach Mark Hammett to embark on a tour of South Africa later this month.

    @Bovidae It's a pity that this is scheduled during the NPC season and some of our best are not available for that reason. Lucas Cashmore isn't in either list, so I assume he's too old?

    @Stargazer Cashmore turned 20 last month, so I guess it depends on what cut-off date they used for selection. He was playing for the BOP U19s.

    Was just referring to his possible eligibility. All the Waikato and BOP players named in the NZ U19s were playing in the U19 game I watched. Usually Jan 1 is used as the date for age-group teams.

    @booboo that's strange. Maybe our Matrix end of year examns. They have just played a two weeks tournament vs England and France.

    Do we know if these games will be televised? I can't see them listed on Sky, but maybe Spark Sports have the rights.
