@Hooroo What really matters is that they are all prepared to put their own lives at risk and die for us if necessary to keep us safe for that they have my greatest respect and gratitude.

Absolutely mate. My interest was just because I’m ex Air Force and still follow what is going on with them.

Is this the same as the Combined Services team? With a swanky new name? Or did Combined Services also include the Police?

The combined services used to include the police up until 1995 (I think) but was still called the combined services when RNZAF, RNZN and Army combined.

In saying that, I went to a combined services shooting that included police in early 2000.

    .

From the Defence Blacks FB page:

A strange day on the field today... After 10 mins the high winds blew over one of the posts which caused a 50 min pause while the other posts were removed. To their credit both teams were keen to keep playing so it was decided that the game would use tries only. At half time the score was locked at 0-0 but after full time the FMF had scored two tries and the Defence Blacks only one. Thanks for everyone’s support during the tournament - it was really appreciated. Now lets all get behind the national team as they strive for a three peat - GO the ALL BLACKS!!!!
