7-0 run to start the 4th on the back of defensive pressure. Le'afa has to stop shooting 3s. Someone needs to break his arms

Loving our work ethic on the defensive end and the offensive glass. Lowe continues to work his butt off. Add Pardon and Vodanovich and McDowell-White who is one of the best rebounding guards in the NBL, and we have been able to stem the flow when they’ve made runs.

Everything is built on defence, rebounds and hustle. We have a stable of really good bigs and a really strong game plan from Mody

@canefan and solid point guard play. Makes a huge difference when our two PGs are reliable with the ball and don’t play erratic.

So the trend continues with another team winning on the road. There have been more road wins this season across the league than home wins.

Yup. This screen and roll play is killing it right now. Goes to show in this league old school 2 point basketball can win you lots of games. Amazing how much difference a decent coach makes

Six players in double figures and that doesn’t include Pardon and Le’afa! Great team effort and it’s great to back up a good road win with another a couple nights later.

that's another tidy win on the road. pretty even through most of the comp so far. Alarm bells in Brisbane, SE Melbourne and Illawarra already i would imagine though.

I'm sitting on a Qantas plane to Auckland, the poor Breakers just boarded economy with me. Bad enough at my 6'2, feel sorry for the tall timber!

Breakers go from Melb (Saturday game) to Illawarra (Monday game) then back to Auckland (Thursday game) and then Cairns (Sunday game)

A long time ago I was on a flight from Auckland to Melbourne the day after the Crocs played the Breakers. I had organised an exit row seat for myself and had Larry Abney sitting next to me. Their entire roster would have been taller than me, so they would have been cramped in the cheap seats.

blast from the past. joined the team just as i was becoming a fan. Pretty sure he was a victim when we went completely broke and got bailed out by the community. Our team was basically what you would consider development players.

I saw the video analyst dude working on some footage mid-flight.

Leaned in and said "Hey bro. I didn't watch the game, but some dudes I know from the internet said to stop shooting so many 3's. You eggs."

    Got a high 5

@Bovidae Abney was a gun. He was a 20-10 threat every night. I remember some good match ups between him and Carlos Powell. I saw Abney sitting on the sidelines of a Clippers summer league game

Breakers left their defence in Australia.

We’ve given up 38 in the first quarter.
