Gee, some Warriors flair of old, over in the corner.

    22-16 kick to come.

Some very smart footy getting repeat sets and putting the pressure on the Knights.

12-0 Warriors in the second half.

And not great news for Wayde Egan with another bad head knock.

Silly error, hopefully that’s not a momentum changer…

    HUGE momentum changer.

    Concede a try immediately.

No energy on our next set, poor last tackle play, now conceded a penalty…. Newcastle in again.

    Game over.

Losing 2 key players from our spine really hurt, especially the way Martin, Egan and SJ have been working together.

We played poorly but still were in it. Hopefully we regroup for a big one next week.

A lot to like in that Warriors performance, but the Knights were too good tonight.

All we’ve asked for over the years is a team that will keep fighting for 80 minutes, and show some heart, so it’s bloody great to see them doing that.

It’d be nice if we weren’t always chasing the game though, going 10-0 down early on proved to be the difference today.

Our defence is fucking awful. Watch our centres, they are completely clueless

We can't keep giving up head starts, and conceding big scores, and expect to win.

    SJ is a marvel frankly.

@mariner4life I maintain we have the worst defensive centres in the NRL and I have seen nothing to convince me otherwise, even though we were second.

Was hoping Metcalf available soon to potentially move CNK to centre and TMM to fullback. Unlikely to happen now.

Still good fight to hang in there but need to win against teams like the Knights

That was a weekend of suprises.

Melbourne hammering the Roosters i did not see coming. If they can get everyone back, the Storm will be scary come finals.
Penrith fucking destroyed Manly. They coasted the 2nd half against a so-called good team playing for a bit of pride and still scored 44. When the Panthers play like that no one can go with them. The 3-peat is very much on.
Souths pumping the Dogs was a surprise. They played some pretty fucking football doing it too. But for all teh points, Latrell Mitchell at fullback will lose them games against good sides because he's not fit enough. Good kickers will constantly pull him out of position.
The Cowboys are in real trouble. They've lost a lot of their top players to injury, and they are really battling.
Brisbane probably needed that loss, it had all come a little easy so far this year. The good news for everyone else is that probably got Sticky another 2-year extension.

@mariner4life Didn't see the Roosters mauling coming either, nor the Raiders winning either, I think some of the other results I could see happening either due to injuries or injuries in game.

Not a bad time for the Warriors to play the Cowboys again though. Both teams down on troops, but at least a home game, where we tend to play better anyway. Will be a big game for Volkman, but to his credit he did play in the win against the Sharks.

It's keystone cops time at Mt Smart. But the warriors have pushed it to an 8 point lead with 4 to go

Warriors grind it out for a win. 3 captains challenges upheld in the final 15. Crazy
