    19/14 split. Nearly as many Halfbacks (4) as we have loose Forwards!

    Interesting Saffas eh. Good forwards but no established 10 without Pollard, and no Am... Do they have a crack with Libbok and use the quality wingers they have, or revert to just kicking it non-stop and beating people up with the forwards and a 6-2 bench. Probably the latter.

    Wonder if Rassie has cunning plan. Pollard needs to be there for quarter, which is two months away.

    Is Am injured? Surely he’s too good to leave at home if not?

    Yeah but only 4 weeks off, I think I read. So they will replace some one when he's fit? The boks have a different way of doing things to us, that's for sure. Four half backs!

    I'm really hoping he gets a decent injury in this game, dodgy Irish caaaants

    Ireland defend plan to play suspended Sexton in unofficial match

    Ireland defend plan to play suspended Sexton in unofficial match

    Ireland are preparing to play an unofficial training match against Portugal, which should be beneficial for suspended captain Johnny Sexton.

    For clarification, nothing wrong with it, I'd just love to see him out - though preferably with an early red card, meaning they lose a quarter final, but the card is later cancelled. That'll teach them to stop the twenty minute card 😉

    @Billy-Tell

    Some guy (I.e me) on the internet who has nothing to do with the boks or the team they face in the quarters will have no impact on the outcome of the game!!

    Some big players missing from the WC squad for the boks and I will be staggered if Kilosi is a starter due to the injury he suffered and how long it takes players to recover from it and get back to their best.
