Spanish team can get fucked. Diving almost as much as the average men's team.

Only watched 2nd 40, well 2nd 45, well 2nd 45 plus added time, but Spain were better. Replacement Spanish striker was class.

Just got back from the game. As expected, Spain were the more skilled side on the ball, and the Swedes tried to impose themselves physically. Looked like we were headed for extra time, when Nek minute 3 goals in 10 minutes. The substitute Spanish striker was tall and good at holding the ball up, I suspected she would be the danger player and she ends up scoring. Swedes score a fortuitous goal doing what they should all along, banging it into the box. The final Spanish goal was a nice strike and saved us from another 30 minutes of play

Yeah extra time and pens would have been bad for me - got home at 1am as it was. Spain's formation in the first half was 6 midfielders and no striker so at half time I called it that young tall left footer would come on for Putellas (who doesn't look fit) and play down the middle. She's the Spanish under 20 400m hurdles record holder or something so she's quite an athlete.
Second half and the Swedes started to press more and get behind Spain down the channels - but also meant more space for Spain to play into on the break. For that winning goal, I don't blame the keeper but the defence. Went to sleep and let the Spanish full back get a clear shot on goal. Dramatic. Nice pieces of footballing shithousery to try to kill the game at the end - ref started pulling players to their feet which I don't reckon we will ever see in the men's game.
