    @Chris Agree to disagree. I don't know why he would be rattled. He has a 5 year contract - little pressure (he's been picked for the next World Cup cycle not this one) - and a great record at World Cups

    @KiwiMurph
    Coaches get sacked and don’t see out their cycles just ask Eddie he knows about getting the boot for under performing as a coach,
    He might not last those 5 years keep losing and pressure mounts,The idiot who pushed for him getting the job will probably go with him.
    Eddie has a history of falling of the pace as a coach with a team the longer he stays with them.

    Yeah I did he wasn’t wrong be he did lose the plot at times.

    He went on like a nutcase. Winners can carry on like this but not losers.

    It's a bit sad to see. I wanted Jones to do well. Hopefully he can turn it around and stop the media getting under his skin like they did. But maybe Jones time is up. Great or very good coach once but maybe time has caught up with him.

    Personally I prefer calm and emotional stability in a leader, not drama and reactiveness. His behaviour -whether genuine or a front - will be having an impact on his staff. Wouldn’t be surprised if the guy who quit had had enough. He was in the box with Eddie in one of the teams first games and appeared startled and didn’t look to appreciate Eddie throwing his ear phones or radio down at one stage.

    Watching that, my immediate thought was he'd been over-indulging on the turps.

    To be fair I thought some of the follow up questions around Quade were a bit stupid, that seemed to be the tipping point where he started getting annoyed at genuine questions.

    I do think Aussie are going to go well at the WC to be honest. I can see them getting to semis then who knows? One game away from a final.

    yes

    turned down the Dragons job, was supposed to be Craig Bellamy's successor.

    Now he's a rugby attack coach apparently.

    I didn't know he was coaching. That AFL dude has carved out a decent rugby coaching career so maybe he'll do ok?

    So boys, we’re gonna keep it pretty tight for a few phases, maybe a bit of width and a 2nd man play on phase 4 or 5, and if nothing comes from that, let’s just kick it - everyone got it?
