@Steven-Harris said in Waikato vs Wellington:

@Canes4life Jeff McTainsh is the main caller
Ant Strachan and i think its Ben Castle on the sideline ,really impressed with Strachan

I think it might be Isaac Boss on the sideline?

Strachan is good because he gives some details.. not just platitudes and cliches

Jeez Numia has grown over the last year in his ball play and scrummaging. He’s in great nick.

@BerhamporeNinja hopefully he puts his hand up for AB selection next year. He’s apparently 118kg now which is big enough for that top level.

GG. Thought Poasa and Losi had blinders. And noticed I didn't yell too much about Morgan lol

@BerhamporeNinja yeah he was actually better tonight but his kicking from hand and goal definitely needs improvement.

According to the radio commentators, at least two Waikato players on crutches into the tunnel, so likely more injuries.

@Stargazer we can all take a breath ,played at an outstanding pace
Some superb tries scored ,a couple of gimmies and some very good individual performances
Simon Parker very good in a losing team
Just signed another 3 year deal with the Chiefs
Well done Wellington ,they roll on

@BerhamporeNinja wow, must be mostly muscle. It’s definitely showing in his carry. Very hard player to put down that’s for sure.

Du Plessis Kirifi not happy with that win. Just shows you the standards Wellington have these days. Hopefully he’s the Canes captain, seems to be a pretty ruthless character.

@Canes4life still abit erratic in his decision making on attack, he tends to want to run as apposed to looking at opportunities prior. Definitely one of his better games

@Steven-Harris yeah he was outstanding. Definitely stopped a lot of Wellington’s momentum at the breakdown.
