    This is from the Taranaki FB page:

    ADDITIONAL SQUAD UPDATE:

    Some positive news with Josh Lord also returning to the squad. Unfortunately, Josh sustained a back injury whilst training in the UK and we're working week to week on a clear diagnostic for his availability for the 2023 season.

    🚑 Unavailable for selection:

    Josh Lord - Back (TBC)

    Daniel Rona - Knee (TBC)

    Hemopo Cunnigham - Concussion (TBC)

    Scott Jury - Pec (Season)

    He has played there much? I don't remember him at no.8, even at U20 level.

    No idea. Auckland have been terrible at giving injury updates this year.

    Any idea @Nogusta ? Or updates on Tuipulotu & Ioane?

    @Bovidae

    I haven't seen him play there. The pace of the back of the scrum could be useful. The team looks better with him in the backrow.. more targets for our wonky throwing hookers

    The best backrow of who is fit might be Choat/Ekuasi/Clark. Maybe we'll see it late in this game

    Naki got a few late changes, Parete , Franklin and Perofeta are all out, replaced by Loft, Bedwell-Curtis and Potroz.

    @Duluth yea correct. As @george33 said Patty T reinjured his arm, came back too soon, and Akira torn ankle ligaments.

    Well I decided I getting old fellas. Raining and and turned cool, and have decided to give game a miss tonight, and watch it on TV. It's not being at game (I have watched plenty in shit weather) but the drive home in the rain and dark isn't appealing at all. An hour and a bit (each way)on the road is getting a bit of a chore for me these days (even if I am a gold member etc)!! FFS!
