Darts is not bad but it lacks the excitement that the TMO and bunker brought to the RWC.

Comment of the year so far.

Just the other night I pinged the other half for overstepping when she was throwing for a double.

Darts should definitely be in the Olympics

It strikes me as one of those sports that would have a big following in the former British empire and not much elsewhere. Like snooker, lawn bowls, cricket, netball etc. Would be a hard Olympics sell especially as I think you have to replace a sport these days not add to the number.

    Americans play darts.

Just possibly not well on the world stage.

Is a pot belly one of the playing requirements? Asking for a friend.

    Generally but there’s always exceptions……

(Was going to say Simon “the Wizard” Whitlock but even he is looking a bit thicker round the middle these days…..)

A responsible adult can supply beer, he just can't buy his own - that's even better 🙂

If Littler can avoid the wobbles he had last night then he can certainly win it.

But based on Humphries’ performance and his ranking you’d have to say it’s his to lose.

    Come on Luke 😉

Littler that is, and sporting history.

Already BBC Sports Personality of the Year 2024 in my books

My new sporting idol is a year older than my son.

It’s ok, I can live with that. Come on Luke !!!

They need to find a way for video replay to fuck everything up before I will consider it a proper sport.

The guy looks like he’s faltering then just finds the afterburners. Great final so far. That last set needs 30, throws a 15, so goes with a 7 then a double 4. Without breaking a sweat.

Humphries was sensational. Looking like going down to 2-5 he wins 7-4. The young lad missed too many clutch throws.
