    The Taipans are shit

Somehow a team packed with guys that can't shoot somehow scored 115 in each of their last road games.
We.keep jacking up 3s but not making (last week against Sydney we missed 14 straight. Last night 7 from 22). So we can't space the floor which makes us easy to defend

But the defence is fucking shit. Kuol and McCall get themselves in foul trouble every week. Last night the Breakers shot well because they got open shot after open shot.

Effectively most of the team are barely NBL standard, and the guys who are, like Kuol and Waardenburg, are out of form. We're 6 and 9 for a reason.
Fuck Hogg, fuck Pinder, fuck Sydney Melbourne and Perth.

The Breakers beat the evil empire in Perth but lose Lamb for the season. So many injuries.

I saw a stat today that the Breakers have only had their full roster for 8 minutes and 44 seconds this season.

That is a huge loss. Is it too late to draft another import in?

The Abercrombie farewell tour continues... PJC was immense.

Strange that @mariner4life's team sweep the best team but will miss the playoffs.

    Because we suck

Last night's game was weird. We were up by like 22 at 3/4 time, then Melbourne turned in one of the best quarters I have seen on that court. We stopped them in the end, but they still scored 34 points!!

One quarter to play in the play-in game, Sydney Kings vs the short handed Breakers, and it's all tied up. I hate the Kings almost as much as I hate Perth, we don't seem to be getting much love from the refs tonight. And we are forcing too many 3s right now. Jackson-Cartwright already has 25 points, we will need him to carry us home

Oh my god. With all the injuries we've had, having to play Sydney away, refs against us, the team came up huge on D, and Parker Jackson Cartwright led a masterclass in leading us past the evil Empire. I have zero sympathy for the Kings, they can fucken suck it

@canefan Happy, and surprised, to see this result. I will have to watch a replay.

The Sydney Kings loss to the Breakers has cost their US coach his job. It was fun watching their owners look miserable at the end of the game.

A real swings and roundabouts game in Wollongong. Hawks came out of the gates hot, and the Breakers pulled it back to all square at the half. Hawks raced ahead early in the third, but the Breakers have closed the gap to 3 with a quarter to play

PJC is shooting cold, needs to catch fire in the last 7 minutes to lead the Breakers home

McDowell White turned his ankle late in the 2nd quarter and has barely played the half. Breakers leading by 2, they have reduced the game to a street fight

18 seconds to play, Breakers down by 3 with possession. What a tight game

Breakers fall short, PJC has a buzzer beater 3 to tie and it goes in and out. Such a brave season after so many injuries

i know we all thought the season already finished but

both semis go to game 3 (Melbourne really should already be out).

Teams should be studying what Tasmania have done when setting up their club. 3 seasons, made the finals, lost a semi, now a game from making the finals again. An amazing start

@mariner4life a good coach that wasn’t beholden to any local politics but had the right temperament

They’ve also had pretty decent imports and the fact Doyle looks set to remain to provide some stability that will be critical going forward.

And now the Jackjumpers win a decider in Perth. Love it.

Doyle and McVeigh huge. But the way they shut down Cotton in the second half and made other Perth guys try and make a play was a masterclass.

    Perth outcoached and outplayed.
