Referee just handed Great Britain a spot in the top four after three dodgy decisions in a row against Australia after the clock had run down

Hmm. That interview with Tomasi Cama said it all for me. He seemed to be on another planet. His selections defy logic.
Webber and Curry were forced to do too much, but gave 100%. Solo, Cook Savage and Fineanganofo saw little game time but show more threat and play making smarts than others.
Rush is a good link player but no creator. Vai is a good attacker but needs big big improvements in ball retention and defence. And Clark, well I just expect a whole lot more accuracy and work rate.
It really reinforces just how much Rokolisoa, Carter, MGB and Mikkelsen add.
Knewstubb was good for first tournament back but not at his best yet.
Just can't fathom what the plan is from Cama though.

I wasn't surprised to see that the men crashed and burned again. The fact that Dickson, as captain, plays the full game and adds nothing proves that the problems start with selection.

I can't believe that the lack of pace from the 30+ yr olds isn't so obvious to Cama and co.

Cama seems to have no idea, lots of positive vibe sound bites, along with the previous disgusting 'we're building to Olympics' - nope not good enough

How embarrassing to be on the bottom of the pool lists, probably more times under cama in one season, than any other coach before over all their seasons

@Bovidae has Ng Shiu been out for a while? Great to see him there.

@Bones Yes, a long time. He was in a men's team that played in a tournament in Fiji recently, along with some other returning players like Collier.

@ARHS said in 2023-2024 World Sevens Series:

He was way off the pace in LA.

Here is the full schedule for both NZ teams.

The USA upset Argentina in the last game, so if NZ doesn't win this they will struggle to get out of the pool - again.
