Brave for Fakatava to attempt a tackle 🙄

Ioane the Blues' best in the first half.

    Highlanders young players going well.

Darry had a poor half. Akira and Clarke were very impressive, as was Choat and, Evans and Forbes.

Impressed with the Highlanders toughness so far

Eight points. We are in this. Just need to halt the mauls and Blues pick and goes.

That's kind of our thing though. 🙂

Plenty of good rugby in that half from the Blues, but each piece of good rugby is promptly followed by a pile of slop unfortunately.

Highlanders really giving it to them, getting stuck in physically which is great to see.

    Enjoying this game.

His physicality is better but you wonder if he is ever going to shake his error rate

Jeez Te Hiwi leaves me scratching my head so often. That floating pass out of half back killed any chance of a counter attack from swinging it back to the other side of the field. So many options and he floats a rainbow hospital ball to Stodart……. I give him the benefit of the doubt because he’s young but man, this is super rugby.

Is Eklund big enough for test rugby?

The more I see of Corey Evans the more I like what I see, he’s a classy player with a good set of skills.
