Wallabies vs Springboks 2
-
Marx in. Probably shouldn't have been given, but not undeserved on balance of play.
-
Pollard misses a conversation. 23-12.
-
Aussie looking more organised than last year, but their basic problem is that they lack the cattle.
-
Defence at 92%, giving away fewer penalties too.
They need to sort out the dumb shit and work a bit more on their attacking game, but yeah they're moving forward under Joe Schmidt.
-
Did the Wallabies decide to remove their props so they could have all their loose forwards on the field?
Surely a team that can't compete at set piece should lose a player?
-
Fk me the Wallabies are shit house. They haven’t improved at all. Same old cracking under any sort of pressure.

I think the reasoning was something like the prop was injured due to opposition foul play, so no player is removed

IMO that's open to abuse. Especially when you see players gingerly touching any other part of their body, but going off for a suspected HIA.

Lolesio is mud. Schmidt stuck between a rock and a hard place because, well, who else? Put a green Lynagh in and when he inevitably fails due to inexperience, they'll complain he shouldn't have been thrown in the deep end.

Should have started.
Everyone can see he's already better.
And will only get better by being played.
-
Marx in again.

Not necessarily in this Wallaby set up.
I can see why he is being held back

Du Toit and Marx carry so well. I wish the ABs had some ball carriers like that.
-
30-12 to the Boks, despite a brave and organised Aussie defensive effort.
South Africa have far more pace and power than their opponents tonight.
