Do we think Sam Cane gets his 99th on Saturday, 100th the following week and then misses EOYT?

Reckon they'll stick with him and look for new 7 the next couple of years. Dunno who though.

    Lakai?

I am not too worried by Tosi's scrummaging as he will face Slipper who is a shadow of his former self (a former self who has never set the world on fire, TBH). I am eager to see what he can bring in the loose. They should use him as a battering ram in midfield, among the backs, to create havoc in the Aussie defense.

It's interesting to hear him talk about how well set piece is going but he doesn't touch on exits/restarts.

Our exit/restart work sucks every game in this regime

In 2024 set piece should also include kickoffs/restarts in my view

Sounds like a dribbling bullshit artist, no wait, a poorly educated consultant used car salesman. Starts off with 'oh, learnings around...'

Talks about what he wants to talk about ably assisted by the hard hitting Dorothy Dixers from Goldie.

It would be nice to hear a question that results in the coaches looking uncomfortable. Perhaps in the heat of the moment immediately afterwards on a hot mic being caught calling the reporter a fluffybunny.

    Fucking. A.
Whenever somebody is using phrases like "I feel..", "... talking around ... ... what that looks like.".... fuck off.
"We've talked about winning. We've talked about winning moments, we've talked about walking towards the pressure and looking forward to it.." - yeah, mate, I'm sold. 5 year extended warranty you said? Bargain!

Listening to Ardie talking at the presser and after a few minutes laughed and said to myself he talks absolute bollocks

Do that and NZ Rugby ensures you don't get access to the team or coaching staff so in general MSM are a collective fan club -when interviewing.

I think Ardie and Paps should play 7 on the EOYT after Cane gets the 💯
    Sititi to 8

God fucking dammit if I see one more "Ardie should start at 7" post...

Based on fucking what? He's been at 8 for like 5 years. No part of his game looks like a restrained 7.

This feels like "Ardie is playing shit but it's not his fault" opinion because he's one of the black shirted untouchables

But Ardie played 7 last season in Japan.......
....like Scott Robertson set up an U19 team at Sumner Rugby Club

I remember when @kiwi_expat used to go on about Razor's heroics at Sumner all the time haha.

    @voodoo oooh interesting.

I do think this Wallabies team are chance to win but they could just as easily get hammered.

Its unlikely the Wallabies will have to face a second half resurgence from the ABs like they did in that 2nd Pumas test.

They are paying $8 at Betfair. Mind you, Argentina was similar and look how that turned out.

They will know that they need to win this game to have a chance of winning the BC.

    Wright

BPA, Slipper, AAA, LSL, Gleeson, Taint, Lynagh, Pietsch

That is still a pretty good Wallaby team, backline especially could fire. Bench might lack a bit but don’t expect this to be a walkover- ABs by 12.

@Nevorian I just wish they'd listed Taint in the middle of the bench.

    Was last week too.

Could be the case that Jacobson is seen as the next best 7 behind Cane now.

@Mr-Fish guessing it's just seen as positional coverage and they don't see DP as at as high a level in that regard. Cane out once he hits a hundred?

Compared to the South African matches I feel a bit empty about this game.
I find that sad and hope it will change.

I am very much the same.. its a little disconcerting to feel so meh.. towards a BC match.

ABs should win - however I don't see a win as a forgone conclusion ... wounded Wobblies, and they usually grow a leg against us
