3 games in 9 days coming up from tomorrow and that maybe why the selections for tomorrow night's games look a bit "interesting". Hollinshead back and starting and I never thought we'd see Nick Evemy starting again. I don't have a great feeling about that line up.

    1. Solomona Sakalia
    2. James O’Reilly
    3. Jeff Thwaites
    4. Troy Callander
    5. Shahn Eru
    6. Henry Stowers
    7. Hugh Blake
    8. Joe Tupe
    9. Luke Campbell
    10. Dan Hollinshead
    11. Regan Ware
    12. Terrence Hepetema
    13. Nick Evemy
    14. Monty Ioane
    15. Isaac Te Aute

    Reserves:
    16. Joseph Royal
    17. Aidan Ross
    18. Pingi Tala’apitaga
    19. Culum Retallick
    20. Jesse Parete
    21. Ruki Tipuna
    22. Kelly Haimona
    23. Te Rangi Fraser*

An interesting sprinkling of players that formerly plied their trade in Wellington club rugby there KP. You must still be reasonably confident as Wellington have been rather fortunate to win two of their games so far this season (Harbour and Counties) and were dire against Otago. Against HB both teams were shite so you are in with probably a better chance than you are giving yourselves.

I guess with this "Three games in nine days " thing rotation of players was always going to happen. While its kinda scary its also important to blood new players and combinations . Whats interesting with this BOP team is that there is no clear stand out player who is holding the team together and its really been a team performance.

As for tonight's game, it looks like the weather will be a factor (They are predicting strong winds and rain) which can only help us. On paper Wellington has a classy backline so wet weather may curtail their plans for an expansive game. I'm guessing there will be plenty of kicking and mauls

I'm looking forward to see how our loose fowards front up against theirs and also how the Campbell/Hollinshead combo works.

Either way Wellington will be favourites I suppose but, given the weather, we are in with a sniff.

Agree with you Snolly - I would be worried about Wellington's big ball runners getting into our backline especially with Evemy at 13. Wind and rain will change the game and make it more random

At 17 - 3, looks like Clayton benched some players he shouldn't have...
