When (and why) did they knock down that small lower deck of the Western Stand at Eden Park?

Auckland floods last year caused flooding inside

I think they took the opportunity to refurbish

Man, it's quiet in that stadium.

Well, nothing much coming through on the TV sound.

They usually drown out the sound on TV these days. They do it at Sky Stadium now as well.

I remember the round robin Canes game I went to against the Chiefs last year and the atmosphere was brilliant. Watched the game again on tv the next day and you couldn’t hear anything.

A 3-0 win in the end but for 60 mins New Caledonia kept the All Whites at bay. What a time to score your first international goal for Boxall after 50+ games.

NZ the fifth country to qualify joining USA, Mexico, Canada and Japan. Even New Caledonia gets another chance to make it some time next year.

First half was pretty tame last night, noticeable change in tactics in the second half to just get more crosses in given that every corner caused a huge degree of panic. It took Wood to be taken off before the goals came though.

Yeah was funny because whipping in crosses to Wood wasn't really working, so Barborouses came on and it actually opened up the park a bit and bought the New Caledonia defence forward which allowed us space to move I'm behind them as they were so deep when Wood was out there.

No news to worry about money for the rest of his life now. Sounds like his quality of life isn't great though
