Bulldogs, Warriors, Storm. Those are the three legit options for Foran. In that order.

@Sneakdefreak I would agree. The Hasler connection at the Dogs is huge.

Broncos sign Jack Bird to a 3 year deal with a 4th year option, most likely will play standoff.

@taniwharugby Bah, I'm recording this to watch afterwards and then this post popped up in the unread list. I guess I'm going to have to avoid the unread list until after the match.

Warriors right under the pump here.
Lucky for them Canberra are taking the two points, I think the Warriors would have been in trouble if they'd kept attacking.

Spoke too soon, penalty after the kick off and Canberra right back on attack.

I'm going to stop switching over, every time I do the Warriors are making a fucking typical Warriors play - giving away a dumb fuck penalty, or dropping it!

Warriors 8, Canberra 20. One too many errors in the second half - can't do that against one of the title favourites.

    Some thoughts:

    • Good first half followed by stink second half. Warriors spine caused issues for Canberra's giant forwards but...
    • For some reason Kearney brought Luke off the field in the second half and the battle around the ruck area was lost.
    • But that Warriors spine is becoming more powerful with every game. Get the right combinations around it and they'll be fine.
    • Roger Tuivasa-Sheck was awesome tonight but so was the desperate Canberra defence.
    • Have no idea when Croker became a good defender because I still remember him get bowled around by Hurrell.
    • James Gavet is playing great but Warriors need Matulino healthy and in the rotation to improve their forward pack.
    • Also add Bunty Afoa (secondrow) and Jazz Tevaga (hooker/secondrow) and you'll have a forward pack that compliments Luke, Johnson, Foran and RTS with high intensity.
    • Blake Austin should be in the running for the NSW number 6 jersey just for his boot.
    • Some 50/50 calls went Canberra's way but that's what homefield advantage is all about.
    • Steriod scandal in Canberra in the next three years. Lock it in.

Damn, I only watched the second half because I saw the half time score on the thread. Looks like I missed the Warriors good half ...

RTS superb again. Foran a little quiet and didn't seem to have the influence.

That loose carry call was a biggie. After a good defensive period by us, we finally get some ball and decent position to attack from and a rake is overcalled. Raiders score in the next set and it's a two coverted try game.

Raiders a good side but I did like a few of the things we did tpnreally trouble them in the first half.

Looking good for the Kiwis with SJ, Foran, RTS and Rapana as ball playing backs.

As shit as being a Warriors supporter is, at least we rarely enter a season with confidence. Imagine being a Penrith supporter, who thinks they are a genuine GF contender, but who currently sit below us at 2-5. And you live in Penrith. Fuck that.

Tigers blew another lead today. Cleary should have stayed away

Makes living in North Gosford next to "Wild West" Wyoming seem positively Monaco by comparison. Only thing is, Roosters spit have bought all the local Leagues clubs around here, and there are still some Manly dry-retch supporters. I miss the Bears, lovable losers like the Bills.

It is reported that storm have changed direction with pursuing Foran and are favoured to get Widdop back to partner their young halves .

And it is said that Foran has a custody arrangement sorted now with his ex which requires him to live in Sydney .

Ben Matulino named in the wider squad for the Anzac game against Melbourne which will be played, surprisingly, on Anzac Day. Means both teams have to wait a week until their game and then get a shorter turn around for their next game.

    VODAFONE WARRIORS

    1 ROGER TUIVASA-SHECK (c)

    2 BLAKE AYSHFORD

    3 DAVID FUSITU’A

    4 SOLOMONE KATA

    5 KEN MAUMALO

    6 KIERAN FORAN

    7 SHAUN JOHNSON

    8 JAMES GAVET

    9 ISSAC LUKE

    10 JACOB LILLYMAN

    11 BODENE THOMPSON

    12 RYAN HOFFMAN

    13 SIMON MANNERING

    Interchange:

    14 NATHANIEL ROACHE

    15 CHARLIE GUBB

    16 LIGI SAO

    17 SAM LISONE

    18 BEN MATULINO

    20 BUNTY AFOA

    21 MAFOA’AEATA HINGANO

    22 MASON LINO
