Tonga nearly toppled by some country I've never heard of, Tonga beat Kiwis, Fiji leading Kiwis at halftime. So much for this tournament going by the script.

I get it now, the Kiwis are just taking one, (well this makes it two) for the sake of international league and making it look like it’s a legitimate and competitive ‘tournament’.

@donsteppa He's a terrible game manager and can't execute on the last tackle unless it is in broken play (which game managers can score as well in broken play). Warriors would be wise to try and steal Luke Keary from the Roosters or even Jackson Hastings from Manly.

With David Kidwell being fired in the coming hour/days/weeks, I wonder who the NZRL could convince to come in and try and rebuild this mess?
Ivan Cleary? Well respected during his time in the Warriors.
Geoff Toovey? Should probably be NSW coach but he would be a taskmaster.
John Ackland? Already works for Auckland Rugby League and knows the talent pool. Well respected too.
The Silverfern? A pack of absolute muppets who have the worst opinions in human history but why the fuck not? Can't be any worse than Kidwell. -

One thing I find really unfair is a situation like we just saw.
Fiji knock on, kiwis dive on it, tackle is called and we’ve make no ground whatsoever, so no advantage, yet that tackle is classed as tackle one.
They’d be better to knock it on themselves, take the scrum from the same spot and start from tackle zero....I'm pretty sure it's zero tackle after a knock on.
