@fiamacho One thing which I haven't seen commented on is how much better the Blues forwards seem to be
when Scrafton is on. And worse when subbed. I thought he stood comparison with the Bok locks.

Blues lose, blues fans whinge and blame ref. Quelle surprise!

Funny the people whinging about Treeby not being carded are remarkably quiet on Ofa not seeing a card...

I think we remained quiet on Ofa not getting carded because it was balanced by the stormers player not getting carded for the tackle on pulu.. both similar and we had no complaints..

Treeby is a card every day of the week.. and every day of 2017 should've been a red.. unless ur playing in Wales against the All Blacks (was it Powell on McCaw? Can't remember)
Treeby getting red carded at that point would've put the game in the Blues favour..
Instead of the stormers losing a player, the Blues lost Francis and had to settle for Gatland sending hospital passes all night..

It didn't help that our bench got monstered in the set piece as well..

To say our bench got monstered in the set-piece is an exagerration. I know of one scrum where Sione Mafiloe got turned because the LH had not hit square. And the other was after we lost Duffie to a BS red card and we packed down with 7 men. All up I think the benched forwards went well.

Can't remember if we had 7 in the scrum.. I just remember breathing a sigh of relief when they opted for 3 instead of going for a penalty try and potential yellow card..
Quite a contrast compared to when the Stormers had 7..

I think people have posted in the past that Scrafton has been the find of the season. Is it a coincidence that our lineout problems went away when Scrafton started?

Yeah Scrafton has been excellent. Seems to have bulked up this year but has a great motor and seems very accurate and not afraid to do the tight work.

@nzzp It's an utter disgrace that Veldsman is still employed as a TMO. He has form and his form makes Ayoub look like a genius.
