Awesome passage of play, leading to a try from Knewstubb. That pass from Curry was brilliant.

    24 - 5 NZ

Haha, Mikkelson scores in the corner and continues his run into the tunnel. He came back though.

    Full time: NZ 29 - 5 Russia

Not bad, not bad at all. Not as dominant as I'd like them to be, but didn't really expect that.

The All Blacks 7s will play France in the Championship QF at 11.16am Sunday morning NZT.
If they win that, they could meet Fiji in the semis (assuming Fiji will beat both Japan and Argentina).

I wonder how many Fijians are playing in this tournament? A lot.

Sloppy game thus far from Fiji, only 5 points ahead of Japan.

Pathetic refereeing. Some parts of rugby I concede are hard to ref. Knock ons out in the open isn't one of those parts.

But despite my moan. Come on Fiji. This Japan team is Qatar-like in its taking the piss of nationality.

You have to give to the Japanese players. They're not intimidated by Fiji at all.

Excuse my 7s ignorance, but why isn't another Fijian NZer, Koroi, there?

Koroi is nz born. For the U20s last year I recall Nareki's bio said he migrated at 3 months old!
