IT really was a Managerial Master class though with a sprinkling of fine fortune.

They way he seem to be changing the team formation throughout the game with the introduction of subs and then with the subs.

I'm finding myself exceedingly stoked for a club that I don't really like.

i am not going to go that far. It says something to me that i am happy for Man U to win though.

That's fair and as I saw most by live update, it's a call full of hyperbole as overall it sounds as though PSG were all over them for the first half

I watched reactions on Twitter rather than the game itself - general view on the pen (and with a lot of handball pens) is that VAR will give it when refs wouldn't without VAR. On arms up or down - arms have to be somewhere and part of moving, diving to block etc is that your arms go out. Slow motion (as in dangerous rugby tackles) always make it look deliberate. Seemed PSG were doing everything except score in the second half (from Twitter again).

Ole does seem to have the magic touch but it has been observed that he is getting the rub of the green with his side giving away a lot of clear chances but still scraping the wins. Might be the case that as soon as he is made permanent manager, he loses his shine .... has happened before (with numerous temporary Chelsea managers).

Man City beat Watford 3-1 to go four points clear. LIverpool need to overhaul a juggernaut.

A good round of results for the Gooners!

We beat Man U 2-0 and Chelsea only just knick a point.

Spurs lost at home as well to bring them into the running for the 4th spot scrap

Aubameyang's missed penalty against Tottenham looking super costly right now. Would put Arsenal 3rd, 2 clear of the spurs, and 4 clear of 5th place.

There are a few things this season they will look back upon and said "only if"

Spurs are goign alll spurrrrrsy. Lost 3 of their last 4. Poch calling them "arrogant". Danny Rose shitting me no end. He thinks he's fucken Michaelangelo but he's just paint by numbers dogshit. Yeah go on try a fucken dummy turn on your own 6 yard line, bam, in it goes, game over. Stupid cnut.

We are definitely flaming out big time. We were playing well while Harry Kane and Dele Ali were injured, I think it was a mistake to rush them back in to start, the rest of the team have lost their mojo as a result. The only consolation is our UCL, but that could well end soon too

I know you'll all be tracking Notts County and the battle of the oldest club not to drop out of the league.

Well they win tonight and although that's rare, the reason I'm posting is for this act of supreme snarkiness

City rampant this morning. Jesus what a team

And in the other game, Christiano Ronaldo did what he always does (and apparently has been doing for Real Madrid for years) and won the tie by himself. His team needs 3 goals to go through? He scores 3 goals.

It will be his personal mission to retain the Champions League for his 4th consecutive title. I don't like him as I am more of a Messi man, but both of them are just remarkable in their ability to deliver over years and years.

3-1 away at Bayern is a pretty decent result, and the quarter finals have 4 English sides, Porto, Ajax, Barcelona and Juventus. In all honesty nearly any one of them can win it. Okay probably not Porto.

Given the location and opposition, that is a huge result. Kudos to Klopp!

It is looking like a lottery this season - Athleti, Bayern, Dortmund, Real all goneburger and I would say everyone wants to get one of Porto, Man U, Ajax or Spurs in the quarters.

City v Barcelona and Liverpool v Juventus would really throw the thing wide open.
