United lose another (at home to Juve) The chosen one is on fairly shaky ground, I imagine.

They are beginning to look like plucky underdogs when playing the European elite. Positive thing for them is that they should still qualify if they beat Young Boys at home - although maybe Jose fancies the Europa where they can be more evenly matched.

Meanwhile City yesterday were frightening, they really could have run up double figures against Shaktar. With KdB back, their options in attacking midfield are spectacular and he balances up the ridiculous number of cultured left feet (2 x Silvas, Sane, Mahrez, Mendy).

A 2-2 draw for Spurs at PSV which leaves them staring at an early exit ....

Dreadful news for Leicester City. The owner's helicopter has crashed in a car park outside the club's ground shortly after taking off following a match.

Not sure how this will affect the club long term - he does seem to have been the ideal rich overseas owner. For a start, they won the title which is still an astounding achievement but he was also well liked by the fans.

City won the big game game away to Spurs which means that it is looking like a 2 horse race for the title (which is not to say Chelsea are out of it being still undefeated with 7 wins and 3 draws!)

And Mahrez dedicated his goal to Srivaddhanaprabha.

If the sign of a top team in the EPL is averaging 2 points or more per game and the sign of a bad team is averaging 1 point or less per game ...

There are currently 6 top teams and 8 bad teams in the EPL. Small statistical size but there has never been such a disparity - last season ended with 3 top teams and 5 bad teams.

Emery's English is slowly improving, like the team. His pressers are so funny to watch because of his accent.

Liverpool go to an in-form Arsenal, get a draw, and it feels like a loss. Seriously, Liverpool are unbeaten in the league through 11 games, have only conceded 5 times, and yet the gap to City feels like a chasm. 2 points, and a 13 better goal difference. City are turning the league in to a sprint.

Just for @dogmeat Fulham get the first managerial sacking in EPL and bring in ... the tinkerman who just happened to win the title 3 seasons ago. Great theatre once again .....

But Fulham are just amateurs compared to my Notts County who have just fired their 2nd manager of the season (Harry Kewell).

Wow! I didn't even know Harry was in management.

As soon as I saw the Fulham announcement, I thought of Dogmeat. Funny how the fern family works

There are some seriously crazy odds at the TAB for everyone except City to win the EPL
    Liverpool $4.50
    Chelsea $18.00 (!)
    Spurs $31.00 (!!)
    Arsenal $101.00 (!!!)

Almost worth putting some on all of those 4 just in case City blow up/have injury crisis/Pep resigns etc. $18 for unbeaten Chelsea who won the title the season before last is just incredible.

Get your money on Fulham now 5000/1.Ranieri has form. C'mon Tinkerman.

When I heard the news I echoed the Lineker text "Ranieri? Really?"

I think every Fulham fan is very sad it didn't work out for Jokanavic. He took us on a fabulous ride the last two years with Fulham lording it in the Championship and playing with a real swagger.

I was hoping we'd give him longer right up until he lots the plot and started publically blaming all and sundry.

Hopefully we get the good Tinkerman - for a while at least. Fulham still have a decent squad. A different voice in the dressing room will hopefully reap immediate rewards

Given Fulham were bumbling along in 16th in November 2017 before surging to promotion, seems like exactly the wrong time to sack this manager. However Ranieri should be canny enough to build Fulham's team the same way as Leicester's. Get enough burly hod carriers to do the defensive donkey work so that the stars they have (and Fulham have some outstanding players) can focus on being stars.

12 games in. Three teams undefeated. All Liverpool need to do is remember how to score lots of goals.

Relegation battle looks like it could be a thriller. Plenty of teams poor enough to be in trouble all season but each team that hits the bottom seems to immediately win a game (Newcastle have now won 3 and Huddersfield have a couple).
