That's classic. Scotland penalty on the 22 in the middle of the field, so kick for touch and get the lineout a metre behind the 22, then hit it up in midfield ending up a couple of metres short of where you kicked it...only to turn it over.
Maybe be a bit smarter and tap it or ask for a scrum?

Ref seems to be really good but has the most random advantage lengths, whistled a knock on at the start and I swear the ball had only just hit the ground from the knock. Then let's one go forever, to the point where they end up back at the scrum on the other side of the field but about ten metres back.
Let's the players fuck about too much too.

Yeah. They shouldn’t have kicked for touch as the wind was only giving them 5 metres. Should have taken the scrum anyway as Oz were putting backs into the scrum for numbers.
I’d love to see if they really did have three nominated hookers. Looking to bring a starting prop back in to fill the role? -

Bill McLaren had to say someone played for the whakarewarewa club when Scotland toured here back in 96. He then had the good sense to apologise and say that he hoped he didn’t have to say it again. Such an old pro.
