If the ABs are set on the Beau-unga combo then it would be awesome to see DMac have a crack at the Sevens for the Olympics. You wouldn't want to give him the tiniest bit of space.

If he is OK upon return. Let's hope he doesn't do a NMS and have no form and little speed when recovered

Unlike NMS he actually had speed beforehand. ๐Ÿ˜‰

Possible All Blacks extended squad 2020

Loosehead props: Joe Moody, Karl Tu'inukuafe, Atu Moli
Tighthead props: Nepo Laulala, Tyrel Lomax, Ofa Tu'ungafasi, Angus Ta'avao
Hookers: Dane Coles, Codie Taylor, Liam Coltman, Nathan Harris,
Locks: Sam Whitelock, Patrick Tuipulotu, Scott Barrett, Pari Pari Parkinson. (Perhaps Isaia Walker-Leawere or Quinten Strange)
Back Row: Luke Jacobson, Vaea Fifita, Dalton Papalii, Shannon Frizzell (has he re-signed?), Sam Cane, Ardie Savea, Akira Ioane, Blake Gibson
Half Backs: TJP, Aaron Smith, Brad Weber
First Fives: Richie Mo'unga, Beauden Barrett, Josh Ioane
Midfield: Ngani Laumape, Josh Goodhue, Anton Leinert-Brown, Reiko Ioane,
Back Three: Sevu Reece, George Bridge, Jordie Barrett, Damian McKenzie,Will Jordan, Braydon Ennor, Leicester Fainga'anuku, David Havili, Caleb Clarke, Josh McKay

Bound to be others I didn't think about or don't know about.

The next set of All Blacks coaches need to work hard on making these lads, especially the forwards, better players.

Or the era of English dominance is going to be a long one.......

That's a really good point. Hopefully we get coaches who want to improve and make players better. So sick of all the ones that don't.

Well i think you've done a pretty good job of naming the largest group of outside backs in AB squad history, particularly considering it's normally an area where we go in fairly lean.

Totally. Probably the only AB to ermege from the SF with an enhanced reputation.

About that, but I'd find a place for Akira Ioane. He could be better than Billy Vunipola if he sorts himself out.

We need to find another power Winger as well. Bridge offered not much today to a side under pressure.

I have now abandoned this obsession as Goodhue is probably the best centre in NZ ... currently. Rieko Ioane should have a look there too as he seems to have lost a fraction of his speed. Leicester Fainganuuku has to be tested at SR level but he could struggle to find a place with G. Bridge trusting the left wing spot for the Crusaders.

Iโ€™m going to get back on the ennor bandwagon. Iโ€™ve watched no NPC but in super rugby he looked a star in the making. Importantly he has size and speed. Hopefully he fulfils his promise in 2020.

@Billy-Tell Enor would have offered more of a threat than Bridge against England.

@shark Hames? I doubt he'll play rugby again due to his concussions.

Papalii and Jacobson have the necessary grunt and physique to perform at the highest level.
Ben-Nicholas, though untested at the SR level, seems to be a potential FAB at Nr.8.
Nankivell, Jordan and Havili are full of promise.
Alaimalo was not as good this year as he was in 2018 but he has some talent.
