          BOP ahead 17-10 at halftime

Only half watching.. it looked like Taranaki had a good ten minutes then BOP took control?

Lazy looping pass from Perofeta that gets intercepted

Perofeta is the gift that keeps giving for the Steamers in the last ten minutes.

He's a good fullback and a poor ten. I can't see that changing.

@Duluth don’t disagree with you there..I would be more comfortable with him at fullback .

Good Win and could end up very important when it comes to securing a home semi hopefully if the boys keep winning and the Hawkes drop a couple of games we can finish top qualifier. Great scrambling D saved the day a couple of times in the game. Nice try to Finish the Game.

Anyone remember the last time we won a game in New Plymouth? We usually get humped there.

Also thank me for consistently picking us to lose .....

Another excellent game by the BOP forwards. The backs decided to play a little too this week.

BOP look well coached this season.

Probably a deserving win for us.

Interestingly we are now favourites on the TAB to win the Championship (marginally ahead of Hawkes ). Judging by this weekends results Taranaki's chances have taken a real dive and Hawkes 's have risen so the "Battle of the Bays" at Tauranga will be really important...as will bonus points. Getting top qualifier is also becoming important as this probably means a home semi against Otago.

Wow that's pretty momentous then - must be one of the longer streaks broken then.
