What the hell was that Nige? USA try to form a maul, player with the ball is about to get it stripped so hands it to a prop who's standing around behind the maul, he then grabs on to the back of the maul. Lousi comes around and starts to tackle him before he's even grabbed hold of the maul and Nige tells him to get back!
-
That last pass continues to haunt Tonga.
-
Yes, try Tonga!
-
Plenty of points out there for Tonga if they're patient and don't force unnecessary passes.
-
And now the USA on the board.
-
Good quiz question: which wings have captained the All Blacks.
I don't have the answer.
-
Poor defence from Tonga.
-
@Stargazer Stu Wilson's the only one I can think of off the top of my head.
No need for Veainu to come in like that.
-
Poor by Teo to not reduce the angle which McGinty then doesn't convert by CMs.
Said Mr. Negative. Me.

I don't want to call Teo a self-absorbed showpony but . . . he's a self-absorbed showpony.

Captained from the wing, or has captained but also a wing? 😉
-
@Bones from the wing.
-
Halarrnoogarrnoogarr 😂
-
@Bones He's like the Aussie Ken Laban.
-
Oh, no, he drops it!
-
Oh shit. Takalua actually passes and look what happens. Great, now he'll never pass again.
-
@Bones There's nothing better than watching a Takalua box kick.

I'm in the UK fella... Not sure who the commentator is. Miles Harrison maybe?
-
@Bones Sorry haha just assumed we had the same coverage. I'm listening to Sean Moloney and Mehrts.
-
Another blown Tonga try!
-
FFS this is frustrating from Tonga.
-
This is the least dynamic Tonga team I can remember
-
Great Tongan try against the run of play!
-
Yanks look knackered
-
Commentators just mentioned that Canada, having had their match cancelled, headed into Tokyo to see about helping out with recovery and cleanup.
Top stuff
-
Yank scrum under huge pressure now
-
Yanks give up the turnover after not supporting their player
-
Smart try by USA against the post. All to play for in the dying minutes.
-
I thought it was a stupid decision to go for the scrum, but it paid off! Great try from Veainu!
-
Great sent-off for Piutau.
Edit: and a great birthday present, as well. He turned 34 today.
-
Was Tameifuna injured in the Argentinean game? He never played after that.

Stu Wilson for starters.
Was Elvidge a winger?

According to http://stats.espnscrum.com/scrum/rugby/records/player/list_of_captains.html?id=8;type=team it apears only Wilson.
They've sort of listed Umaga, but don't think he ever started as captain on the wing.
And they've got Ben Smith as FB,W .
But only one match as captain. So again not a starter as captain on the wing. -
Stu was the AB captain by default on that tour. One to forget too.
I thought BFA might have captained from the wing but he was at fullback.
