The way Melbourne play they are going to struggle to beat us on the weekend. Hopefully if we do make it Perth Wildcats knock out the Wollongong "Wildcats" as we don't match up well with them

Didn't Dylan Boucher wear one for a while too?

Goulding made a bitch play in the 4th quarter last night. Abercrombie saved a ball headed for the out of bounds by diving over, Goulding reached over grabbed his leg and touched it onto the out of bounds while dobbing Tom into the ref. Ref didn't fall for it and awarded a foul on replay (not following procedure!!) Bitch, like I said

To be fair both Lisch and Randle have had very good seasons. Not a lot of love for the Breakers at all, and neither team below has a traditional starting five.

All-NBL First Team

Jerome Randle (Adelaide 36ers)

Kevin Lisch (Illawarra Hawks)

Chris Goulding (Melbourne United)

Daniel Kickert (Melbourne United)

AJ Ogilvy (Illawarra Hawks)

All-NBL Second Team

Stephen Holt (Melbourne United)

Corey Webster (NZ Breakers)

Kirk Penney (Illawarra Hawks)

Matt Knight (Perth Wildcats)

Daniel Johnson (Adelaide 36ers)

I like Kevin Lische, he is a very savvy player. The Breakers have blown hot and cold this season, and from what I saw CJ was quite inconsistent. This is good if it motivates him to another title ;)

The Wildcats have one foot in the final after beating the Hawks. Lisch went off early with an ankle injury and has been ruled out of game 2. A big loss to lose the MVP. If the Breakers win tonight they would prefer to play Perth based on the season series.

I've loved watching the Hawks this season and Penny is probably my favourite player, but I would prefer we played the Wildcats. We match up better with them. When the Hawks go with their 3 guard lineup we haven't had an answer. Our bigs can play against the Perth bigs.

Devastating for Lisch, but I wouldn't count them out of an emotional win at the 'Gong. It's a tough place to play for opposition teams.

Breakers record this season:

2-2 vs Wildcats (all home wins)

0-4 vs Hawks

Breakers beat Melbourne 91-78 to reach the finals again. In the process they have set some NBL playoff records.

Webster was cold from outside. Big 2nd halves from Ced, Abercrombie and Wesley.

Just got back from screaming my lungs off at vector. Not sure it's ideal for CF jnr to see me like that but a great win all the same with the three aforementioned players stepping up when needed. Looks like another Perth Breakers finals. Just as long as that asshole Damien Martin doesn't win 😉

Expanding on my comment above, the Breakers have now won 11 consecutive playoff games and 9 post-season series in a row.

The wildcats hit a roadblock in Wollongong and are rewarded with game three back home to decide who faces the breakers
