If that's South Africa 'A', I'd love to know what they're going to change for the main Springboks squad. This is a strong looking "A" side.

SA has a 46-man squad so a lot of them won't be playing if they stack their A team.

Looks like the big match this week will be tomorrow night and not tonight. Can't wait for this.

Looks like the Lions have gone for a fairly strong side as well.

From what I can gather from the Boks A side, I’d say the front row is not their strongest, it’s a replacement 10 and one bench lock.

In an effort to boost the players’ match fitness and give them the best possible chance to push for places in the Springbok Test team, Rassie Erasmus was hoping that the South Africa ‘A’ side could play a second match on Saturday before the Test series against the British & Irish Lions kicks off next weekend.

SA lucky not to receive a card there for repeated infringements.

Though may get one for foul play.

I thought the yellow for FAF was fair. No clear contact to the head.

Good to see the ref dish out another yellow though for repeated infringements.

What's the reason behind the Lions reluctancy to maul from a lineout 5m out? Not want to show their hand too early?
