The RC is going to have a heavy toll of injuries, and we'll still have a tour of the NH ahead. Who are the next players in line to join the squad?

    Loosehead:

    Alex Hodgman

    Tighthead:

    Sione Mafileo/Atu Moli (if fit)

    Hooker:

    Ash Dixon

    Lock:

    Quentin Strange
    Scott Scrafton

    Openside:

    Adrien Choat
    Sione Havili
    Billy Harmon

    Blindside:

    Tom Robinson

    Number 8:

    Devan Flanders

    Halfback:

    Bryn Hall

    First Five:

    Mitch Hunt
    Harry Plummer

    2nd 5:

    ?

    Centre:

    PUJ

    Wing:

    Caleb Clarke

    Fullback:

    Zarn Sullivan

Nankievill a potential 12 option? He was very good for Maori ABs and in Super Rugby Aotearoa final.

Jesus, Choat isn't even a quality SR level guy at this stage. And the same for Scrafton. I think Harmon has to be the next cab off the rank at 7 and I'd go for any of Strange, Parkinson, IWL, Dixon or Selby-Rickett at lock ahead of Scrafton.

LOL, all NZ commentator mentioned players who do fuck all during the game and have no physical dominance. Scrafton is vastly better than any of them, he can actually tackle, carry, and clean players out.

As I've mentioned in the game thread, the ABs have a limited number they can call in. All the players on tour stay on tour, so it would be very interesting to know how many spare MIQ slots they have beyond Coles, Whitelock, mo'unga, and Smith. Either way, I don't see any extra player apart from Whitelock, who had airway had his baby, being in the RC due to quarantine requirements. Even if they can get a flight! Go to Air NZ and there are no flights available for this month. Literally no planes going to Brisbane.

Add to that no game time for months

So if we have someone so injured they won't be playing again, well need to replace them, probably available for USA game. Otherwise we've got little choice.

Otere Black for mine at 10, too. And I forgot about the Taranaki bloke at 7. Also, James Lentjes wouldn't disgrace the jersey.

I would have Dunshea way ahead of all those clowns too, but he is out for the season.

He hasn't been playing for Ta$man so must be injured.

Dunshea plays above himself and could do a job if fit. But I see more upside in those guys under the right tutelage.

Surely Aidan Ross. Tuivasa sheck Drummond Grace and Coltman rate higher than some of those if not injured. Dunshea too.

Dominic Bird for Scrafton. Definitely no Dickson or S-B. Don't think IWL is ready, either.

Definitely no Choat. Probably only Harmon at this stage, but if Kirifi can drop the dumbness, it will be him.

6/8: in addition to Flanders: MMT. He's been awesome since his return from injury.

10: definitely not Plummer. Probably only Hunt.

    Centre and wing: Leicester Fainga'anuku.
