<p>Guys just three weeks or so before the season kicks off so time to start sounding out availabilities for this coming season.</p>

<p>The Golds go in as defending titleholders (nutting the Baabaas by a scabby three points in the final!) so we have a lot of honour to uphold. Hopefully all hands will be back on deck but don't let that put you off declaring for the Golds as  all positions are contestable so give it some thought about joining up for 2016.</p>
<p>Hopefully enough will declare allegience to enable to Blacks to field their full compliment this season thus taking off the pressure of having to count every score rather than having to luxury of discarding each weeks lowest score. Names in if you please so we can get an idea whether we have to dip into into the draft pool or not thanks to fill out our rosters.</p>

I've been trying to get out of Hurricanes Gold ever since I jumped train to the Chiefs. But if I'm needed....

<p>A bit of a mixed start but the canes blacks have yet to break their duck. Come on guys, pull your socks up and come out fighting against the Blues Bs and give them a real hiding. Gibbit, making sure you get your tips in before 7.35pm tonight will be a good start! </p>

<p>The Golds can be forgiven if they have a bit of an off round, given they are up against my Barbarians team that they beat in last season's final so if one or two of you have a stinker it would be appreciated!</p>
