The Western Force will be aiming to overcome a COVID-19 disruption and the heartbreak of their two most recent losses when they take on the NSW Waratahs in Perth on Saturday night.
Force coach Tim Sampson, Wallabies enforcer Izack Rodda, and scrumhalf Issak Fines-Leleiwasa are all isolating and will miss the match against NSW after being deemed close contacts. Not sure why they're posting this on Twitter now. It looks as if that's already clear from the line-up posted earlier.
-
Tahs up 10-zip in the first 7 minutes thanks to a scrum penalty and an intercept
-
And another try. Edmed breaks through as Koteka comes in early. Foketi on his shoulder.
Tahs 17 nil after 11 minutes
-
-
@duluth that was absolutely dogshit ruck defence.
Early days yet but the force don't look like 19 points at the moment.
Tahs have been clicking the first 15
-
Losing 4 more starters before kickoff has rocked the Force
-
Tahs now returning to ordinary
-
Great defence tho. Not sure that was advantage over tho
-
Fuck me Gamble is a star. Deadly at the breakdown

Do you know if he’s Aussie qualified yet? Would he be in your 23?
-
Must say tho it's fairly physical, which we need when the kiwis land next week
-
@duluth I think he's been here just over 3 years?
Still, hard to crack the 23 when you've got Hooper, McReight, Hardwick, Samu, and others in front, effectively
-
wiki says he first signed with the Tahs in 2020 & played for Sydney in 2019
Maybe he came back to NZ at some stage
-
@duluth 2018 he would have played a season of subbiesi believe as well
-
Watching on delay. Pietsch murders a try
-
Tahs giving the force a ride upfield with back to back penalties
-
Good try but they were gifted territory
-
Respond with a maul try thank fuck. Have a word to yourselves tahs
-
Gamble gets another turnover. Gordon wastes possession by running instead of using his back line

This moment is different, of course
-
Edmed having a solid game. Nothing flashy, just make the right decision.
-
Nawaqanitawase is having a pretty fucking good outing as well.
-
Oh that's a good try. Great hands through the tackle and great hands to pick it up from big Jed
-
Good support play in that try
Tahs are so much better this year
-
@duluth except their discipline
-
I don't know for how many seasons Cridge has signed with the Tahs, but I'd like to see him play for a NZ franchise again. Don't know whether I'll change my mind after the Tahs have played NZ franchises, but he's looked the goods thus far.
-
@stargazer very important element of the Tahs pack
-
Threw away a bonus point. Dammit.
-
@nta He's a big man, too. Don't know about Australia, but - as you know - there aren't that many 2m specimens in NZ SR.
