    @Chris Maybe everyone already thought or knew this and I'm just a bit slow, but I think that franchises chose to give away a home game to the Melbourne round. Surely, they wouldn't force franchises to hand over a home game for three consecutive years? That would be incredibly unfair and I just can't see the NZ franchises roll over and accept that.

    Just coming on to post that I know that there are some players moving. Not going to say any more than that but I thought it important to post that I know something that the rest of you don’t.

    Any room for Roe down there? He's the next Smith and is likely to be stuck behind Ratima at the chiefs.

    @Chris that's a shame, he's better than them imo.

    Hopefully he'll get plenty of time at the chiefs with Weber gone then.

    @nostrildamus him and ALB were forming a real good centre pairing until Hansen brought SBW back.

    Matt Giteau was really impressed with RC.

    I totally agree. I think Crotty was accused by some of being a journeyman and he wasn't a big specimen but he added consistency to the backline, some solidity. Didn't let the ABs down in my opinion.

    @Chris Not surprising, trying to follow in the footsteps of his uncle.

    IIRC he was disappointed to miss the NZ U20s so don't think it's a case of switching as Fiji was his second chance.

    He should try for Tonga U20s next year, then the senior ABs, then after a standdown when he's playing overseas declare for Samoa, then he's have covered all his bases.

    Yeah, maybe the NZ U20s should have picked him.
