    I might have missed it in the match threads but after the second semi last week I found it pretty awful the way Medics and water are now being used and are sprinting on the pitch the moment there is any form of break.

    Haven't seem a lot of chat this week on it which suprised me as I thought it for so blatant on Saturday that NZ would make a point of it ahead of the game.

    Any suggestions for the ways forward?

    Midway through the second half Ben O'Keeffe told both captains in the semi that he would yellow card anyone who came on for anything other than a bona fide injury.

    Ban it, make it a penalty infringement. If the stoppage that caused them to come onto the field is already for a penalty, then give them an extra 10m.

    @dogmeat true that

    I was pleased he did but honestly it carried in regardless and when teams are happy to be dishonest the injury stuff is problematic.

    I guess I just thought there would be more noise as it is so clear as Rassie constantly screams in his 🎤 the medics are running it to the pitch.

    Not a fan of that direction of travel.

    @Gunner

    I would like to see it more actively policed for sure.

    Thing is you can't send a medic away from the pitch and I worry no ref (without some pressure ahead of it) will take strong enough action.

    @Davesofthunder we had a massive rant about in one of the threads. Does my head in.

    Removing their comms would be a good start.

    If it carries on, move to neutral game medics and no water other than designated breaks if the temperature is over 47 degrees C

    I hope Barnes follows on from last week, in trying to keep the game moving

    Football (of the soccer variety) has us beat here. Need a medic? You're off until the next break in play unless you were on the receiving end of a foul deemed worthy of a yellow card.

    It's ironic isn't it. We give them shit about diving, but then we have players constantly pretending to be injured to get rest.

    It's disgraceful. As is their distain for the officials. Hopefully some hard and fast laws are established asap. It's a blight on the game.

    It's simulation, should be card worthy. Maybe a new pink card and 10 minutes off the field?
