should not really be driven in the wet by amateurs
Ahh - there's my problem! I should turn pro. Yes!
My teen age racing rally cars background has lead me to believe that I can drive fast in cars for talented people. I was wrong then and I still am. Enjoy it though, it is exhilarating, as well as frightening.
Good points about the TVR and Caterham. Simalar concept (light weight / huge power) different machines / engines.
Trev is a very comfortable car /coffin. Can drive it for hours and still want to push harder into a corner.
Please post photos. Would love to see a car in a box - so to speak.

I see you have gone for THE colour scheme. Good man!

@majorrage C'mon man. Update.

Gotta get 'em on before they can fall off!

See, I would check out the headlights, diff and rear end first before worrying about the engine and whether she would fire up.
We still talking about the Caterham?
What's a Caterham?

Couple of pics ... engine going on, and then how it looks currently. I could put the wheels and froutwingstays on now which makes it look more complete, but as Im building it in a single width garage, it takes up far too much space.
-
I hope you aren't going to go with a cardboard firewall!
-
@MajorRage Where are you at now?
Too angry / scared to drive the TVR after a drunk, and probably drugged, prick wrote off a car that I loved (not as much as my wife that was in it) but there is a lot to be said for modern cars and our little Golf saved her life last weekend.
Be careful in that thing on the roads bro.
Go like hell on the track though.
-
@snowy that's no good mate - sorry to hear that but glad to hear the wife is ok.
Just doing the boring stuff now - mechanicals all done. But it's bloody cold here now and rather icy. My daily drive is an M135i and it's bloody scary enough in thst with all the technology, no way I'm taking the cat out for a few months
-
M135i is a great vehicle, should keep you safe enough - like I ever cared about safety before.
Wife made me take her for a drive in the TVR the other day - rebuilding confidence I guess. Not sure if it was her's or mine!
Cat is looking really good. Love to see some more pics.
