My lunch box has the Northland Taniwha on it <img src='http://www.daimenhutchison.com/rugby/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':)' /><br />
<br />
I rarely buy lunch, 3 days a week I have couscous, cherry tomatoes, beetroot and tuna (sweet Thai chilli, chilli and mango, lemon and pepper etc) or chicken.<br />
<br />
One other day I have a fruit day, the other I have bread.<br />
<br />
Have fruit and other 'snacks' during the day (pretzels are quite good, far less fat, sugar & salt than chips, and take longer to eat) like a cereal bar, yoghurt.<br />
<br />
Remembered to bring the Green tea to work, although without the honey & lemon or grapefruit it isnt as appealing<br />

For the last six months my standard Breakfast has become one bowl of porridge, two boiled eggs, a short black and 400 mls of water. Lunch more often than not is tuna, beetroot and cucumber on Vogel. I no longer take any whey protein (can't justify or afford it) and haven't sprinkled sugar on anything for yonks. As a result I've dropped about 8 kgs in the last three months. -

Great work RB, porridge is counted as "slow release" carbs or something isn't it ? I think thats how people promote it being good for you.<br />
<br />
Meant to mention that my shoulders handled that workout pretty well, mind you not being at work at the moment caking them in Deep Heat is a bit more socially acceptable. -
Salmon and Green Tea for brekky, Salmon and Geen tea for lunch and schnitzel, home made chips and greens for dindins tonight. Belted out 100 burpees this morning, not my best time but sweating bucketloads considering I ain't done em for awhile. Last twenty I barely got off the ground...... <br />
<br />
Trying to resist the urge to have a couple of boundary road craft beers with dinner. The "Sticky wicket" is particularly delightful. Fuck it is a nice drop. -
More of the dips, chins, burpees shit as usual. House sitting a pad up in Oriental bay and a couple of power walks up the hill to get there has been good for me too. Latest weigh in a tad under 98kg. In the last couple of days have been drinking green tea like its going out of fashion, unfortunately have slipped up a tiny bit with eating ( pizza and Maccas on successive days ) but aiming to be good from here on in. The pie machine at work isn't gonna get any visits from me.....

do you add anything to the Green Tea?<br />
<br />
Not a fan of it on its own, but I like to squeeze lemon juice (or grapefruit) then freeze it into cubes and then use a cube and half a teaspoon of honey with my green tea, manly as! -

Yeah my manliness has been questioned as I sip it by mainly fat mates ! I get the stuff that has a bit of flavour ( currently having zesty lemon ) which is ummmmmm, well tolerable. Gonna try and have this as a coffee substitute at work when I get back on monday. Well I'll have to start the day with a coffee to be fair but will aim to restrict myself to just the one......<br />
<br />
I'm gonna aim to have about 10 cups a day over the next couple of weeks and will report back any fat loss ( which should happen supposedly as it aids digestion etc ) -
one I really 'enjoyed' was lemon, apple and ginger, with the latter also being good for digestion (although I dont think ginger beer, alcoholic or not, counts <img src='http://www.daimenhutchison.com/rugby/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':)' />)

You will need a fair bit of that green tea mate but I think it does help. I drink a lot of it at work but probably only 6 cups a day, haven't got to 10 yet.<br />
<br />
Drink it plain too. Think the one we have is Lipton green tea with jasmine. It's ok but much better than the others I've tasted -
I hate that one with Jasmin, the smell puts me off and makes it even more bitter IMO....
97.5kg, woo hoo !<br />
<br />
Strength still there though, took great pleasure in destroying a young smart arse in the office in an arm wrestle and best of all some hot girls saw me do it too. Is it sad to think like that at 35 years of age ?
<br />
<br />
Never EVER lose focus on the laydeez - it's why we're men. The ladies love the "old" guy doin what he do. Just don't lose or you'll look like a sad oldie -
not to mention we already have a MILF... <img src='http://www.daimenhutchison.com/rugby/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/wink.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=';)' /><br />
<br />
this thread is going no where fast! -
haven't tried it myself but from what I know it's an intra-workout carb drink with a bit of creatine and leucine in it.<br />
<br />
If its just a sample then you won't get much out of it other than trying the taste etc. <br />
<br />
Prolonged usage may assist with muscle building and recovery but shouldn't make you fat if that's what you are worried about
